Response to a Vegan’s attempt to shed light on Halal & Kosher slaughter - most merciful or barbaric?

Always interesting to see anothers point of view or understanding of Religious slaughter. In response to Emily Moran Barwick from Bite Size Vegan who attempts to shed light on Zabihah (Muslim) & Shechita (Jewish) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgcA8fz10Uo&feature=youtu.be) slaughter methods which essentially follow the same principles.

Post-cut stun: WMCO Answers a French Veterinary

Several European countries are banning and/or making it difficult for Religious slaughter ( without pre-stunning or post-cut stun), while selling & exporting a different version of halal meat products (pre-stunned) to Muslim countries and Muslim minorities.

World Muslim Consumers Organization lance un sondage en coordination avec différents groupes de consommateurs musulmans. Ces derniers sont ASIDCOM (France), APOCE (Algérie), BEhalal (RU), Ikeethalal (Pays Bas), ASEVE Foundation (Belgique), NewsHalal (Japon) et SAARC (Inde, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Népal, Maldives, Bhoutan).

فالعديد من الدول الغربية تمنع على المسلمين تذكية الحيوانات دون صعقها قبل أو بعد الذبح مباشرة. كما تخلق دول أخرى لم تصرح بمنع التذكية على المسلمين الصعوبات والعراقيل لكي تصدهم عن ممارسة شعائر الاسلام المتعلقة بذبح الحيوانات. ومع ذلك فان نفس هذه الدول تواصل تصدير منتوجاتها المصعوقة للبلاد المسلمة كما تبيعها للأقليات المسلمة في الغرب. وهم يدعون أن منتوجاتهم توافق متطلبات المستهلك المسلم وإلا فلماذا يقبل عليها ويشتريها؟

WMCO Survey: Halal meat and stunning

SURVEY ! The World Muslim Consumers’ Organization is an umbrella organisation with affliation with ASIDCOM (France), APOCE (Algeria), Behalal.org (UK), Ikeethalal (Netherlands), ASEVE Fondation (Belgium), HalalNews (Japan) and SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan) that work to protect the Rights of Muslim consumers to meet their religious obligations and requirements within the Halal market. This first survey is focused on stunning and the slaughter practices of halal meat.

The World Muslim Consumers Organization is a member of the Federation of ASIDCOM (Federation of the Associations of Awareness, Information and Defense of Muslim Consumers). It is with great concern that WMCO has noted the latest development from the otherwise respected Danish Government.
